Bangkok - (Spring 2025) - Departure

Left late to the airport on departure day because of Bangkok traffic. We had planned to leave early enough to have some time to wander around the airport but instead had a rushed meal and went to the gate. I ordered a Grab car but every existing car was stuck in traffic so after over an hour of waiting the bellhop at the hotel was able to get us a taxi so we wouldn’t miss the flight.

Tried to get a quick meal (that wound up not so quick) at the airport.

The Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok is pretty modern and we were hoping to spend some time here exploring but due to the taxi situation we wound up short on time.

Long layover in Manila

The flight back home involved a long layover in Manila. After many security checks to transfer onto the final flight home, you get stuck in an old and pretty worn terminal to wait out the layover. I guess they are renovating this terminal in the near future which is good because the current one could use a refresh. They didn’t have many services in this part of the airport to help pass the time. At least they had beer
